Headliner: Evangeline (she/her)

bio: Evangeline Agape (@kriebelsessies) vertelt je over het leven zoals het is. Haar woorden zijn herkenbaar, kwetsbaar, goudeerlijk en een hart onder de riem voor anderen. Ze is schrijver, illustrator en cultureel werker en woont in Antwerpen samen met een collectie van ongeveer tien fleecedekens en evenveel soorten thee. Haar debuut, Ooit Bouwden Wij Luchtkastelen, verscheen voorjaar 2022 bij uitgeverij Pelckmans.

Headliner: Levandé (he/him/they/them)

bio: Levandé is a passionate alternative artist. At just three years old, this artist already had one dream: to become a star as big as our sun. A star that touches people, inspires them, gives them hope, and makes them feel seen. A singer for the people. Decades later, Levandé is still on the path to this goal. Many achievements have been made, such as garnering thousands of views on YouTube, taking professional singing lessons, studying jazz music, releasing singles, performing on The Voice Belgique, and even being noticed by major stars. A star whose light has yet to reach everyone. This is Levandé.

bio: Chloe Catara blends electronic and R&B instrumentals, infusing them with rap verses, ethereal vocals, and catchy choruses. Raised between Brooklyn and Brussels, she channels a distinct versatility into the heart of the Belgian music scene and beyond.

bio: Driven by ingrained curiosity and hunger for understanding, Jaspe Azabe found her expression in storytelling. Raised among a variety of stories from many cultures, she seeks to now tell her own. Jaspe has been active as a curator, public engagement officer and Host in various fields in the arts such as the theater, museums and of course Zomerfabriek. Currently she is working as a Gallery Host and spoken word artist, experimenting with photography and various multimedia in her free time.

DJ: Hygra (he/him)
IG: @hygra_

bio: Hygra, born in Nepal, discovered his passion for music at a young age. After moving to Belgium at the age of 12, he found his own stage in the world of electronic music. This transition proved to be a turning point, evolving his musical journey from a personal outlet to a bold artistic venture. Hygra’s music reflects diverse influences from his travels and experiences in different cultures. His sets encompass an eclectic mix of genres, including amapiano, afrobeats, gqom, bailefunk, and hip-hop, showcasing his broad musical palette and boundary-pushing ability.

ZOMERFABRIEK

Ken jij de Zomerfabriek al? Dat is Antwerp’s best kept secret! Deze creative safe space is in de zomer de ‘place to be’ voor dans, muziek, sport en feest. Hier ontdek je elke week chille livemuziek en spoken word. Ook voor dit jaar strikten we straf ongekend en nieuw talent. Smeer je benenmaar in, want de Zomerfabriek staat voor creativiteit, beweging en nightlife ten top!

Onze klassiekers gaan al enkele jaren mee. Denk maar aan The Classics op dinsdag, Grab the Mic op woensdag, Dance & Jam op donderdag en The Sunday Jams op zondag.

Dit jaar wordt er nog een fitness area toegevoegd aan de mix. Denk aan een skatezone, basketbalveld, calisthenics en sporttoernooien! En don’t forget: de activiteiten van de Zomerfabriek zijn free for all. Geen uitvluchten, gewoon komen, want er is veel dat je niet mag missen! En bovendien geen feest zonder frisse drankjes, lekkere streetfood en good vibes in onze urban garden.
